  • Analyzes DNA in the blood
  • No delivery needed. Immediate access to testing

What’s tested:

GRAIL Cancer Test

The GRAIL Cancer Test screens for signals associated with more than 50 types of cancer using just one blood draw. The test may identify cancer signals before clinical symptoms appear, offering an opportunity to find cancer earlier as part of a broader, proactive screening approach.

What do we test for?

The GRAIL Cancer Test screens for a signal associated with more than 50 types of cancer from a single blood draw. A cancer signal detected result does not diagnose cancer on its own, but it can indicate that follow-up diagnostic evaluation is warranted.

Who should take this test?

This add-on is designed for Function members who want a proactive, multi-cancer early detection test alongside their broader health data.

It can be a useful option for adults who want to add more visibility beyond standard screening pathways, especially for cancers that do not have routine screening tests today.

What to expect

Results are reported through your Function account. In general, the test returns either a No Cancer Signal Detected result or a Cancer Signal Detected result.

If a signal is detected, the report may also indicate the most likely tissue of origin to help guide next steps with your care team.

How often testing is recommended

The GRAIL Cancer Test is designed to be taken annually as part of an ongoing proactive screening strategy.
