I just completed my first set of labs. Function Health is a very good value based on the number of biomarkers tested and add-on tests offered. I’m still assessing the recommended insights to see how they may improve my health/lifespan over time.

I have wanted to have all these tests for decades. I could not afford the Dr visit and tests because I did not have insurance to cover the costs. I went for one round with a Naturopath and it was over $500 for the visits and just a few tests. Plus, the supplements. Function was the answer to my prayers! I feel so much better knowing how my body is really functioning. I was always unsure about what supplements I should be taking. I have only done my baseline testing, but I feel so incredibly lucky to have Function available to me. Without going to an incredibly expensive holistic or functional medicine doctor, this is one of the only available methods to get this degree of testing done today. I just turned 30 and will have this data to guide my decisions in regard to my health for the coming decades and there is no doubt that this will influence my health and wellness decisions for years to come!

I have high LDL and do not want to take statins. I felt my PCP just wasn’t capable or willing to really dig in and help me lower my LDL. Function allows me access to way more detail on my cholesterol (and everything else) so I can make better decisions in terms of what I eat and my level of activity.

I have been searching for many years for the root cause of many of my health problems, only to come up short, until now. I have seen many doctors & specialists over the years who have sent me for all sorts of tests and had me on many different medications, but FINALLY found the true root cause of my issues - SLE Lupus due to the extensive testing that Function health provided. While I know I am far from being 'well', I now know what is in front of me and how to hopefully stop this disease from killing me. I wish my ex-doctors would have sent me for all these tests many years ago, rather than trying to push all their medications on me, treating my symptoms rather than looking for the root cause.

I have always been interested in understanding health and longevity. Function Health has provided an affordable solution to understanding one's individual biology and how to better address any issues that need attention. I look forward to continuing this journey with Function Health.
