Function Scans: How to book your Full Body MRI
Introducing: Function Scans.
Whole-body lab testing meets full-body scans—giving you a near 360 degree view of your health. Now we have the tools and technology to see beneath the surface, to give you a more complete picture of your health. To track your health more closely as it evolves—as you evolve.
Function Scans include the first 22-minute Full Body MRI with FDA-cleared AI. This revolutionary technology improves image quality, lowers costs, and reduces scan time. That means, what was 60 minutes is now 22. And $1,500 now $499. As a result, MRIs can become a part of your new baseline for proactive health.
These scans are intended to help detect early signs of disease before symptoms show—various types of cancer, aneurysms, risk of strokes, brain health decline, fatty liver, and many more.
How It Works
1. Join Function
In order to access the Function-exclusive pricing for these scans, you must be a Function member. You can join Function here.
2. Schedule Lab Testing
You must schedule your lab testing before booking a scan. Function lab testing can be easily scheduled and completed within approximately 15 minutes at any of the 2,000+ Quest Diagnostics locations across the country.
3. Create an Ezra Account
Once you’re a Function member, you can access your unique link on your dashboard to Ezra’s* website where you’ll need to create an account to purchase and schedule your scan. Your Function member discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
*Ezra is the company that Function has acquired to make these scans available. Ezra is the company that developed the FDA-cleared AI technology that helps make full-body MRIs faster and more affordable versus traditional MRIs, while still maintaining diagnostic quality.
4. Book Your Scan
Once you’ve purchased your scan on Ezra’s website with your unique link to access Function member-exclusive pricing, you will book your scan at your nearest partner facility. Ezra currently partners with imaging facilities in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Florida (Central and South), Houston, Los Angeles, Little Rock, Long Island, Maryland, Michigan, Minneapolis, Montana, Nashville, Nevada, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, Seattle, St. Louis, The Bay Area, Upstate New York, Utah, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.
* While all of these locations conduct at least one version of the Function Scan, not all scan types may be available at every facility. When you schedule your scan, you’ll be able to see which are available at the locations nearest to you. We are actively expanding site availability nationwide.
5. Receive Your Results
The results of your scans are typically available within 7-10 business days, and you’ll be notified via email. Your scan results will be reviewed by a licensed medical professional and made available to you as a secure report in your Ezra account.
* In the future, we plan to incorporate these results directly into your Function Health dashboard for a more complete view of your health, all in one place.
